We are currently looking for qualified:

Automotive Technician Sprinter Technician
As an Automotive Technician you provide automotive repair services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations in adherence to Mercedes-Benz standards. It is your responsibility to work in co-operation with Team Leaders, the Shop Foreman, Apprentices, and Service Advisors to complete automotive repairs as efficiently as possible.  Our customers expect and deserve the best service available, which starts with the technicians and their ability to diagnose and repair vehicles the first time.

Experience

  • 310S License is required
  • ODP Card
  • Experience with luxury automotives in an asset
  • Tools required to perform repairs and services
  • Valid driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures that customer complaints are resolved efficiently
  • Collects all necessary information before requesting parts
  • Completes service and repair assignments correctly the first time, ensuring repairs pass quality inspections or test drives
  • Maintains personal tools for optimum performance
  • Submits all claims promptly
  • Fully explains completed tasks to Service Advisors in as much detail as requested
  • Helps others as needed to ensure collaborative, team based environment
  • When necessary assists Service Advisors to explain completed repairs to a customer
  • Treating the customer’s vehicle with utmost respect
  • Uses preventative measures such as guards, seat covers, and floor mats to protect the vehicle’s interior
  • Develops an interest in professional development, seeks out learning and training opportunities
  • Meets or exceeds flat rate time allowances
  • Attends and participates in team and department meetings

  • Shows an organized and systematic approach to solving problems

Physical and Work Demands

  • Moving about the dealership to complete auto service and repair
  • Using hand and/or power tools and equipment
  • Using computers to look up information
  • Standing for six to eight hours in a shift
  • Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing
  • Utilizing physical and manual dexterity
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Moving vehicles
  • Noise
  • Vibration
  • Paint
  • Dust
  • Exhaust fumes
  • Other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Extreme heat and/or cold

Required licenses or certifications:

  • 310S
  • Drivers License G
As a Sprinter Technician you provide automotive repair services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations in adherence to Mercedes-Benz on our specialty made commercial vehicles.  Sprinter vans are not only vehicles for our customers, they are the customer’s business and way of life. When a customer must part with their Sprinter they are trusting you to repair the vehicle as quickly and efficiently as possible, and always the right way on the first visit.

Experience

  • 310S or 310T License is required
